Countywide Community Queue & Matching Process is Now Live

The New County CQ and Matching Process is Now Live

Dear Providers,

Today marks the first phase of implementation for the updated Interim Housing (IH) referral and matching process. All projects currently configured and utilizing the HMIS Inventory Module should now begin using the updated workflow. The updated workflow includes using the IH referral in HMIS, referring to one or both Community Queues, and utilizing Calendly to schedule the intake appointments to support timely participant placement into IH beds.

Beginning July 13, 2026

  • LAHSA Matchers will match participants to City of Los Angeles-funded beds
  • HSH Matchers will match participants to County-funded beds

Reminder: Participants may be referred to one or both of the community queues now.

Upcoming Go-Live: July 27, 2026 – Projects New to the Inventory Module

Projects that are new to the HMIS Inventory Module, including Family Interim Housing projects and select adult Interim Housing projects, will begin using the updated matching and referral workflow on Monday, July 27, 2026.

This additional implementation period allows LAHSA and HSH teams to continue to work with providers to collect the program's site inventory information and complete inventory configuration in HMIS.

Required Provider Action: Providers transitioning to the HMIS Inventory Module for the first time must complete the following activities:

  1. Complete Calendly setup by July 14, 2026: Calendly invites have been distributed to all providers participating in this implementation phase. Please review the Calendly Training for IH Providers recording and Power Point slides for detailed guidance.

If your organization has not received an invite from Calendly for your site, please submit a support request to HMIS Support > HMIS Inventory.

  2.  Complete Inventory Collection by July 17, 2026: Coordinate with your LAHSA or HSH program staff to collect your site’s inventory. As needed, LAHSA or HSH program staff will reach out to complete the LAHSA Inventory Data Collection Tool – This template is used to update or add any new inventory to an existing or new program site.
