Let us PAY for your CDA! - As a registered family child care provider or licensed child care center staff, you can access FREE funds to cover the cost of new/renewal CDA application fees and associated competency books! 

Maryland Family Network, the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), and the Council for Professional Recognition are partnering to provide thousands of Maryland's early childhood educators with financial support to help them earn the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. These financial awards will cover registration and other fees as well as books required for the program. Click for more information!

The Smithsonian Libraries has a cool program called Traveling Trunks! This is a program for kids in grades 5 through 8. The current topics are:

• Nice Tu Meet You - focuses on Latinx cultures from Central America and the Caribbean through the regions’ music and stories.

• Women in America: Extra and Ordinary. - is a collection of twenty-four women living from 1785-2013 in America. Some of their stories are extraordinary while others celebrate the strength of the everyday.
