Sunshine Squash Club hosts event on
World Squash Day
On World Squash Day 2020, Sunshine Squash Club hosted a friendly event that cultivated squash spirit amongst new learners and brought together the squash community. The event was divided into two sections - one group of beginner players to 'get to know squash', and a second group of intermediate players to hit with some of the top junior players in Canada.

Sunshine Squash Club was formed in March 2020, by four Junior players in BC. The club acts not only as a group of volunteer ambassadors aiming to promote the sport in the community, but also a platform for Junior players to interact with each other.

Congratulations Sunshine Squash Club on a great event!
Sport is More Important than Ever
British Columbians love participating in sport. In fact, we're such an active province that more than 800,000 of our neighbours across this province play organized sport and are members of a Provincial Sport Organization such as Squash BC.

We know that sport builds belonging, communities, friendships, leaders, healthy kids, connections, and resilience. Sport contributes to the social and economic success of communities throughout British Columbia.

With a provincial election upcoming on October 24th, we ask you to get in the game! Join us and raise your voice for sport in this election.
