The Court Resurfacing and Improvements Project will increase the quality of play for the community by refreshing the surfaces and restriping the City's courts for tennis and pickleball.
The construction improvements will move forward in phases beginning at Cays Park and ending at the Coronado Tennis Center. To create more playing areas for the growing number of pickleball users, crews will convert two existing tennis courts in Cays Park into dedicated pickleball courts.
Project Update May 15, 2023
The first phase taking place at Cays Park has been completed. The basketball court and pickleball court 5 opened on May 15.
Work completed to date at Cays Park:
Pickleball court 5 completed.
Basketball court completed.
Pickleball barrier fence posts set on court 1.
