BRUNCH FOLLOWS WORSHIP SUNDAY!

We will take the time to celebrate summer here at Covenant Bay Indies by meeting together over brunch this coming Sunday.

We will gather for the Brunch at the Venezia Hotel on US 41. It's all you care to eat and it always has been a great meal together.

Please consider this your invitation to join us Sunday. We also are planning brunch on the second Sunday of the months of July and August as well.

ARE YOU NEW?

We are blessed to have a lot of newcomers joining with us each week and we are thankful many choose to become a part of our community.

We are here for one another, and a phrase you'll hear a lot is that "We are better together." While anyone can practice their faith on their own, it is always a blessing to join others in that journey as we gather each week.

PRAYERS MATTER!

Each week at our worship services, we remember our many concerns through our prayers we offer for those who face medical situations that demand some urgent care, Prayer always. is an appropriate response to that kind of situation!

Remember that if you have specific prayer needs that you want to be included in our Sunday prayers, just mention that fact to Pastor Jonathon just before worship and he will be happy to include your prayer in the worship.

It does not have to be someone who lives in Bay Indies that we pray for- it can be anyone. Take advantage of our prayers together by including them on Sunday morning!

SUMMER OF STORIES

Just a reminder- You've heard we will be feature a time for getting to know each other better by sharing stories about ourselves in a brief time during worship.

Would you like to share? Already several members have stepped forward, and we are anticipating getting started quite soon. Let Pastor Jonathon know you want to be interviewed and we will schedule you in! We look forward to hearing the stories from our members and friends!

OUR OUTREACH TO CUBA

You may recall we sent an offering to a group of churches in Camaguey, Cuba. The pastors of the church, Tito and Maridalia, maintain an outreach to the neighborhood children.

They provide English classes, music opportunities, and worship time for the youth of their neighborhood.

Your gifts provided much needed resources for this church and for several other pastoral families. The Cuban experience is filled with low availability of food, lack of electricity, and hardships most of us have never encountered.

Through it all, these faithful leaders stand in the gap for these kids and bring to them the message of God's love in both their words and their deeds.

There is no one on the face of the earth that has ever escaped trials and tribulations. There are difficulties all around, and it is just part of living life as a human being.

People experience great success and achievements in their lives, which far outshine the difficulties that they may face.

St. Paul encourages the church at Philippi to be certain they realize that in both the bad times, not-so-bad times, good times, and excellent times, that Christ is the answer for living life in a way that no other can do.

The strength that is brought to our lives by Jesus is incredible and makes all the difference in the world. We are blessed by God by never having to do this ourselves. We are not alone!
