Good Morning Covenant Families!

This morning Mr. Hayward shares from Luke 8 when Jesus calms the storm. Watch and listen to Mr. Hayward explain how we can fight fear with faith. How are you fighting fear?

Holy, Holy, Holy
We invite your family to sing Holy, Holy, Holy together with Mr. Maurer. This hymn is unique as it is directed towards the Trinity. Before the hymn, Mr. Maurer explains more about how the music of this hymn represents the Trinity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee,
casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee,
who wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.

Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide thee,
though the eye of sinful man thy glory may not see,
only thou art holy; there is none beside thee
perfect in pow'r, in love, and purity.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All thy works shall praise thy name in earth and sky and sea.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Non Nobis
Our Grammar School students normally sing our school song,  Non Nobis  during morning assembly each day. We invite you to sing along with Mr. Maurer this morning!

Non nobis, Domine
non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory.
– Psalm 115:1

Wayward Hayward Episode 2

Thank you to the students who submitted replies to Episode 1. Some of the replies were more careful and thoughtful than my clues. Shout outs go to Elijah and Lily Turner, Karis and Bethany Broeg, Menasse and Miki Jefferies. In the Upper School,  Mueller  house gets 1 point credit to Zach Sun's speedy response.

Where will Mr. Hayward be next? Email by Monday morning with your solution to the clue!
New Classrooms and New Classmates:

Thank you so much for sending in pictures of your new classrooms and your new classmates! Gavin Miller (6th Grade) and Norah Miller (5th Grade) have new furry class buddies, Sadie Chapman (3rd Grade) has a new classmate Pippin the cat, Moriah Kern (1st Grade) and her siblings enjoyed storytime with Miss Fromuth, and Ryer Sassaman (1st Grade) enjoys learning with his dad and two puppy dogs (the puppies need to talk to Mr. Hayward about sleeping in class).

We miss you all so much. Please keep the pictures coming by emailing them to . We love seeing your smiling faces!
Prayer Requests

We know this is a trying time for many of our families. We have a prayer team in place who would love to hear from you! Please email with any prayer requests you may have.
