Good Morning Covenant Families,

As we begin a new month, Mrs. Turner shares from Isaiah 40 in this morning's assembly video. Isaiah reminds us to hope in the Lord for the strength and perseverance we need.
We also have a May Day contemplation from Mr. Hayward this morning...

How Deep the Father's Love for Us
Let's sing How Deep the Father's Love for Us together with Mr. Maurer. These lyrics are not found in the Trinity Hymnal, so please use the lyrics below the video.
How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure

How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory

Behold the man upon a cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers

It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished

I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection

Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

Non Nobis
Our Grammar School students normally sing our school song,  Non Nobis  during morning assembly each day. We invite you to sing along with Mr. Maurer this morning!

Non nobis, Domine
non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory.
– Psalm 115:1

The beetle that Nikolas Allen is holding traveled all the way to the US across the Atlantic ocean with Mrs. Allen after a visit to Moldova, her home country! Mrs. Allen's brother found the beetle in her hometown; the beetle was dying but her brother thought he would keep it. When Mrs. Allen saw it, she thought it would be fun for her students to see, so she brought it to PA. Now her kids get to look at it too!
