Good Morning Covenant Families!

This morning you have the opportunity to hear from our new Grammar School Dean, Mrs. Cossin! She shares how, even and especially during challenging times, we are becoming more like Christ. Let these words be an encouragement to your family!

O Sacred Head, Now Wounded
We invite your family to sing this special hymn together, recognizing the season of Lent.
O sacred Head, now wounded,
with grief and shame weighed down;
now scornfully surrounded
with thorns, thine only crown;
O sacred Head, what glory,
what bliss 'til now was thine!
Yet, though despised and gory,
I joy to call thee mine.

What thou, my Lord, hast suffered
was all for sinners' gain:
mine, mine was the transgression,
but thine the deadly pain.
Lo, here I fall, my Savior!
'Tis I deserve thy place;
look on me with thy favor,
vouchsafe to me thy grace.

What language shall I borrow
to thank thee, dearest Friend,
for this, thy dying sorrow,
thy pity without end?
O make me thine forever;
and should I fainting be,
Lord, let me never, never
outlive my love to thee.

Non Nobis
Our Grammar School students normally sing our school song,  Non Nobis  during morning assembly each day. We invite you to sing along with Mr. Maurer this morning!

Non nobis, Domine
non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory.
– Psalm 115:1

Covenant Challenge from Mrs. Yawger:

Mrs. Yawger would like to present a fun challenge to our school community for the month of April. Watch this video for more details!

Wayward Hayward Episode 1
Watch the video below to have some fun with Mr. Hayward. Where will Wayward Hayward be found next? Students should email John.Hayward@DiscoverCovenant.com by Thursday morning with the answer to the clue!
Covenant Hashtag!
We love new ways to stay connected with our families during this time. When your family posts pictures or videos to Facebook or Instagram doing something Covenant-related, we'd love if you used the hashtag #CovenantShelterInGrace . When you click or tap on the hashtag, it will be full of faces from our community!

Prayer Requests

We know this is a trying time for many of our families. We have a prayer team in place who would love to hear from you! Please email Prayer@DiscoverCovenant.com with any prayer requests you may have.
