Good Morning Covenant Families,

We can't believe tomorrow is the last day of school! For this morning's assembly video, Mr. Hayward reflects on the last verses in the Bible.

Be Thou My Vision
Let's sing Be Thou My Vision together with Mr. Maurer.
Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
naught be all else to me, save that thou art--
thou my best thought by day or by night,
waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.

Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word;
I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord;
thou my great Father, I thy true son;
thou in me dwelling, and I with thee one.

Be thou my battle shield, sword for my fight;
be thou my dignity, thou my delight,
thou my soul's shelter, thou my high tow'r:
raise thou me heav'n-ward, O Pow'r of my pow'r.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
thou mine inheritance, now and always:
thou and thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my treasure thou art.

High King of heaven, my victory won,
may I reach heaven's joys, O bright heav'n's Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

Non Nobis
Our Grammar School students normally sing our school song,  Non Nobis  during morning assembly each day. We invite you to sing along with Mr. Maurer this morning...

Non nobis, Domine
non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory.

Last Day of School
We will have a live, virtual Last Day of School assembly from 8:00 to 8:30AM on Thursday, May 21 (instead of the daily email). It will be broadcast on YouTube Live for families to watch. If you are unable to watch the live assembly at 8:00AM, you will be able to watch it later. Click the button below at 8:00AM on Thursday to watch live!
Parade for the Class of 2020
There will be a car parade to celebrate our seniors beginning at 8:00PM 7:45PM (time change since yesterday's email) on Thursday evening outside of the school building. The seniors will be standing – appropriately spaced – under the canopy in the front of the school. We invite families to celebrate the seniors, make signs, and parade around the drop off loop in their vehicles from 7:45 to 8:30PM.  For safety reasons, all paraders MUST stay in their vehicles.  Any vehicles that arrive before the seniors are in place can begin forming a car line in the main parking lot (just like dismissal).

Dropping Off School Materials & Picking Up Personal Belongings
We will have time on Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday, May 27 for dropping off school materials and picking up personal belongings from the school year. More details to come.

 Report Cards
Due to some of the logistical challenges of finishing up our distance learning, we are delaying report cards for one week. They will be finalized and available for review on Friday, June 5.
