Two important things today:

- A personal message for pastors, elders, deacons, small group/Sunday school leaders, and ministry leaders:
I want to call you ramp up rather than pull back on your ministry. Your congregation and your community need Christ right now and that means they need you.
A primary area to ramp up is
This is especially important if you have a drop in attendance.
If someone in your sphere of influence misses a worship service, small group, or other gathering, you (pastors, elders, deacons, group leaders, ministry leaders) have the responsibility to contact them. The best option is a phone call. If you can’t reach them by phone, then text. Don’t give up until you or someone reaches them. Here's what the conversations might be like:
Aloha Auntie. I didn’t see you yesterday and I was concerned. Could I read a scripture with you and pray with you? It’s so important for us to worship with each other regularly. I understand if you can’t attend the next few weeks, but I want to make sure you are still growing in your walk with Jesus.
Aloha Uncle, would you serve on our prayer team. We want to ask you to pray every day for our church members and for the people in our community who don’t know Jesus. How can I pray for you today? Could we pray together right now?
Johnny, are you and your family ok? How can we pray for you? We just want you to know that we love you and miss you. Could I read the scripture from Sunday with you? Could we pray together right now? I'm going to send you a link to the recorded sermon.
We're praying for you as you find creative ways to love and serve and care not only for members but for your community.
