Dear Residents, Families and Staff,
Happy Friday! I want to give everyone a quick update since it has been several weeks since the last COVID communication. We have enjoyed seeing visitors come and go and appreciate that everyone is following our COVID screening and visitation protocols. We currently have no active cases of COVID in any of our communities.
As you may have read in Governor Inslee’s release last week – the new CDC unmasking rules do not apply to assisted living communities such as ours. Therefore, please continue to wear your masks in our communities. When you are in your loved ones apartment and if both of you are fully vaccinated, feel free to remove your masks. In all common spaces, we will still require (for now) that all visitors, regardless of vaccination status, continue to wear their masks.
As we have mentioned before, if your household is fully vaccinated, you are welcome to bring your loved one home for dinner or a day visit. When out of our communities, please follow CDC guidelines for mask wearing.
I am happy to see that Kitsap County’s average COVID positivity rate per 100,000 has recently dropped from 209.6 to 150.3 and the trend looks like it is headed in the right direction. We will be in Phase 4 by the end of June as long as this trend continues.
With Gratitude,
