Covid-19 Mindfulness & Protection
As we join together to slow the spread of COVID-19 throughout our region, the Floss Barber Inc. design team will be working remotely. We will continue to best serve our clients with timely communication, professionalism, and production of design materials.

We wish our clients, vendors, fellow professionals, and friends continued safety and wellbeing. Click below to find Floss’s recommendations to practice mindfulness, protect our physical wellbeing, and uplift our spirits while at home.

We can protect our physical wellbeing by eating healthy (organic, locally grown whole) foods, maintaining an active lifestyle, getting plenty of sleep, taking high quality supplements, and incorporating essential oils. Continue to follow the CDC and local government requirements for staying isolated, safe, and healthy. Remember to wash your hands frequently, practice self-isolation by staying home, avoid interacting with others (even those with whom you are quarantined) if you feel ill, and try to maintain a positive frame of mind. During this time of uncertainty, we invite you to share some of the ways we personally practice mindfulness.

Namaste,

Floss and the team

2 Essential Oils to Support Wellness
Essential oils are excellent natural products to support health and wellness.

Eucalyptus oil is great for opening up the sinus passages and clearing blocked airways. It's also a wonderful way to clean your home. Its aroma scents the room naturally with a woodsy-pine smell that reminds us of being in nature. The chief constituents that give eucalyptus its antibacterial, antiseptic, and antiviral powers are eucalyptol, 1,8-Cineole, Limonene, Para-Cymene, and alpha-Pinene. It also contains powerfully anti-inflammatory flavonoids and tannins.

Thyme oil contains many powerful antiviral and antibacterial powers. In fact, thyme oil has proven to eradicate the flu and 90% of herpes simplex 1 and 2 viruses. Thyme contains multiple antiviral constituents including thymol, carvacol, borneol, cineoles camphor, borneol, terpinenes, terpinenols cymene, and pinenes.
