Recognizing the acceleration of the COVID-19 Delta variant across many regions of the United States, the Board of Managers acted to address the safety of our members and our staff.
Effective August 12, 2021, the Providence Art Club is requiring that all workshop and class teachers and attendees provide proof of full vaccination BEFORE registration can be completed. (Full vaccination means you’ve gotten all recommended doses of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by the FDA or WHO and more than 14 days have passed since the final dose has been administered.) This requirement extends the standard that has been in place for Club employees for some time. The same expectation applies to the Board itself, and to our committees.
We are continually working to provide an environment which will help you feel comfortable and safe here, including providing sanitizers and wipes for everyone to use. We further support any members who, in addition to full vaccination, feel most comfortable wearing a mask.
We will monitor advice from the Centers for Disease Control and the Rhode Island Department of Health, and keeping the health and safety of our members and employees in mind, consider adjustments to these guidelines in a timely manner. Please watch our website for any updates; you may also contact us at email@example.com with any questions you may have.
If you are planning to register for a class or a workshop, please be prepared to mail or email a copy of your proof of full vaccination to firstname.lastname@example.org as part of the registration process. Receipt of your documentation will be acknowledged. If you do not get an acknowledgement, please contact our General Manager, Seb Borges. You may reach Seb Borges at email@example.com.
Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate this novel and evolving situation together.
