COVID Update
2.5.2020

Dear Residents, Families and Staff,

As of today we have one active COVID case at Madrona House involving an asymptomatic resident who first tested positive last Friday, January 29th.  Wednesday we sampled and submitted COVID tests for all Madrona, Wyatt and Madison House staff and residents.  We are pleased to report that we found no new positive cases of COVID.  It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of one of our COVID positive assisted living residents who was being treated at the hospital. Our thoughts and sympathy are with this family.

We will continue to retest Madrona House residents and staff again this coming Monday and Thursday.  Madrona House will stay on our active COVID protocol until testing results show 14 days with no new positive cases.  We continue to carefully monitor all residents for the slightest sign of COVID, including oxygen saturation level, temperature, general malaise, headache, congestion, sore throat and loss of taste/smell.

The second dose of vaccine for all residents is scheduled to be administered onsite today.

With Gratitude,

Morgan Rohrbach
President and CEO
