Updated Visitation Protocol

3.19.2021

We are please to announce that the Governor’s office has updated visitation rules for long-term care communities – effective immediately.  Please note that outdoor visits are still the safest form of visitation but indoor visits are now allowed if the following guidelines can be followed.

Please follow the guidelines below when visiting your loved one:

  • For indoor visitation, per the Governor’s proclamation – either the resident OR the visitor has to be fully vaccinated (two weeks post second shot for Moderna/Pfizer or two weeks post the one shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine).

  • Visiting hours are currently from 9am-5pm, seven days/week unless otherwise arranged with the Executive Director.

  • All visitors will be screened upon entry prior to each visit.

  • All visitations will occur in the resident’s apartment or on an outing with proper PPE in place for the visitor and the resident, where appropriate and safe.

  • Visitors are asked to spend a minimal amount of time in communal spaces and maintain 6’ distance from staff and residents where possible.

  • If you would like to take your loved one for an outing please make sure to sign resident in/out and maintain 6’ distance in all public places.  Please avoid indoor dining at this time.

  • All visitors must wear proper PPE at all times and perform frequent hand hygiene before and during community visits.

  • Visitation will be suspended if a resident is COVID positive or is symptomatic or if the resident has had a potential exposure and is in quarantine.

  • Visitors are asked to pause their community visits if they have any COVID symptoms or have been exposed to anyone with COVID and have not been fully vaccinated.
