Launching Pick-Up & Delivery
|
|
If you're like many other Members of the GreenEarth Network we've spoken with over the last three weeks, you're making adjustments to keep your business afloat through the Covid-19 pandemic. It hasn't been easy for anyone.
One thing we've noticed that really resonates with folks right now based on the dozens of Affiliate social media accounts we manage, along with the conversations we've had with other Members, is contactless pickup and delivery. We have Affiliates who have converted to 100% pick up and delivery at this point and aren't regretting that decision.

If you're thinking to yourself, "I don't offer pick up and delivery," now is the perfect time to start. It may seem daunting to dive head first into a new way of doing business, but it's a service your customer is expecting from all other aspects of their life right now. Even if you're driving around your market area in your car, SUV, or getting involved with the
National program we sent out on March 24th to pick up and deliver the orders, it's a start.
There are some really easy, effective ways to get this message out to your online community. You can add a sign up form to your website and even make the home page of your site focused on pick up and delivery. Make the "title" of your homepage "Free pick up and delivery dry cleaning" so that's what a customer sees with a quick Google search. If you've been collecting your customer's email addresses, send out an e-blast letting them know about your new service. Make it part of your name on Yelp and Google My Business and push the message out on any social media channels you're currently using.
You can also pull a list from your point of sale system of the top 20% of your customers, and call them. Promote your complimentary pick up and delivery service and take it a step further by asking if there's anything they need from the grocery store you can grab along the way. They may not take you up on the offer, but showing you care will go along way and the gesture might just earn you a loyal customer for life.
As always, our marketing team is here to support you through this and we are extending our offer of 1 month of our customized social media management services for free. Simply visit our
online sign up form
to get things started. And we're happy to hop on. a call to answer any of your questions or just brainstorm with you on ways to keep things moving forward.

We're all well aware of the hoarding of paper products and cleaning supplies taking place, making it difficult in some areas to purchase seemingly common items like hand sanitizer.
This turns into a serious problem when your county, like San Diego County, requires all businesses remaining open to have hand sanitizer on hand, no pun intended, for their staff. Where do you get it?
|
|
Our social media team, while researching various local markets for content, have discovered distilleries all over the country hearing the call and stepping up, providing their communities with a resource for hand sanitizer.
Here's a story in San Diego of multiple distilleries participating and it seems to be a growing trend.

Over the last two days, we've had 115 responses to our poll, with only 9 of those 115 answering
YES to having received approval from their bank on either the EIDL or PPP SBA loans.
If you answered
NO over the last 2 days and your status has changed, or if you did not answer yesterday, please let us know.
