Covid Restrictions Being Lifted
Dearest Yogis,

What a year + (15 months) it has been. I don't need to say anything more as you all have lived through it. Thank you all for all you have done to contribute to the world around you!

As the state of Massachusetts lifts its Covid restrictions, we are planning to remove our own restrictions on May 30th.

What does this mean:

Fully Vax- no mask: Teaches will be able to finally resume teaching as we were taught- not from our mats. Parking spots will be removed from the floors and teachers will be able to teach from the front of the room again, if they choose to.

Each of you will decide if you choose to take off your masks or not based on what you are most comfortable with. As always, there will be no shaming in our sacred space. No judgement- you do what is right for you and your body.

Limiting Virtual Classes:

We were so fortunate to be able to offer virtual classes over the past 15 months in order to help keep our community stay strong in body and mind.

Recently, it has become more challenging to give both 'in person' students and 'virtual' students the appropriate amount of attention. And with the restrictions being lifted and teachers having more freedom to move around and help our students, we will be going back to 'in person teaching only' - for the most part.
We understand that there may be some virtual students who may not be ready to come back into the studio for numerous reasons. If you are one of those students, please let me know what classes you would like to have the option to be virtual. If there is enough interest, we can offer a few virtual classes from our home studios over the next few months.

What will stay: Props will be wiped down after each use as we have always done. Sign up's will still be required in advance for contact tracing (should we ever need to). If you don't feel well, stay home and take care of yourself. And finally, members will still have access to our recorded classes 300+ over the past year.

I am offering Beach Yoga on Mondays and Saturdays at 7:30am for those who aren't comfortable in studio or who simply want to practice yoga in nature (check the app for dates- will be weekly starting in June).

Lisa Segal, who was a Godsend with her expertise on videos, will sadly be moving to Florida in Mid June. We wouldn't have been able to give you such quality virtual classes and recordings without her help. Lisa will still be involved with Unplug from Florida and she may offer her Yoga for Osteoporosis classes from Florida, for those who have loved her class. We will keep you updated. We are excited for Lisa and her new journey. Thank you Lisa!

Studio Etiquette Reminders

1.Please arrive to class no later than 5 minutes before the class starts so we can start and end classes on time. If you are new to yoga or new to out studio, come in early so we can talk with you about what you are looking for in a yoga practice, inform us of any injuries or health conditions we need to be aware of so we can give you guidance on ways to make your practice safe and accessible.

2.Please take your shoes off before entering the studio. It helps keep the germs out of the studio as we walk around barefoot.

3.Please continue to sign up for classes in advance.
Our next group 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training will begin in September. We are working with students privately this summer. Deadline for September in person 200 HR YTT is August 15th. To apply or inquire click here. P.S. 300 Hour will begin in September. Details TBA.
Beyond Asana

This is by far my favorite program to teach as I love to see students grow and advance in their own practice as they truly learn to integrate the lesser known but even more important practices of yoga: diet, lifestyle, meditation, mantra, pranayama, vedic astrology and vastu shastra and more. Asana, although the most popular, is one very small part of yoga. There is still time to sign up for the program beginning after Memorial Day. If you are interested, I can accept 2 more students.Reach out!
