Lottie has visited for the first time Linda's Hair Salon

for cut, color, & Starfire gossip -

and she picks up clues on a potential suspect!

The rumbling of my stomach interrupted my dark thoughts. Lunch now. Suspects later.

My usual from Triple S would hit the spot.

I pulled up their website on my phone to place my order and found myself staring at Jess in his ever-present cowboy hat.

The first time I’d eaten there, I’d asked if the place’s name came from his cowboy days. He’d laughed and said it was the name of the ranch where he’d worked until too many hours in the saddle made his bones ache. His Triple S served soup, salad, and sandwiches without him having to ride the range or lasso a thing.

Starfire certainly had its collection of characters.

When I swung by the takeout window, Franco greeted me.

“The number three for you, as usual. Greek pasta salad, roasted tomato basil soup, and half a Mediterranean turkey wrap.”

"That's it." I grinned.

My hand tightened around the takeout bag. “Thanks.”

His words startled me. They shouldn’t have, since I was on the front page. But was Starfire dividing into camps? Those who didn’t think I could be a killer. And those who did?
