L4T and CV Health Tour

Leadership 4 Teens with Douglas High School (DHS) and Aspire Academy High School students took a tour of the new and exciting Carson Valley Health Hospital. Shout out to Courtney Moore and Kelly Spears of the Carson Valley Health Foundation who hosted the tour. Students learned about physical therapy, radiology-imaging and surgery services the hospital offers.

Courtney and Kelly also shared a Career and College Ready presentation to the students of how they may become a future employee, contractor or specialist with Carson Valley Health.

The Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Douglas County partnered with Partnership Douglas County to host a networking event with local nonprofit organizations. Me For Incredible Youth, Inc. (MEFIYI) was honored to join this activity and share our mission, highlight how we empower youth, and discuss the role we play in strengthening our community. We are proud to invest in the growth of local leadership.
