⭐ We have a full set of craft kits this week -- strawberries, yetis, dinos, and art! -- but we will be scaling back next week in preparation for our Summer Reading Kickoff. 

⭐ Speaking of which ... save the date! Our Summer Reading Kickoff will be held on Sunday, May 22nd from 2 pm to 4 pm outdoors at Lakeview School (indoors at the school if inclement weather). Registration for Denville residents only will open on Monday, May 16th at noon. Don't worry, we will send out a reminder!

⭐ Reservations for free craft kits start on Wednesday, May 11th at 3 pm.

⭐ Craft kit pickup will be on Thursday, May 12th from 3 pm to 7 pm. We are always happy to do curbside delivery... just call us from the parking lot!

Food for Fines! 🥫

During the month of May, the Denville Library will forgive $1 in Denville overdue fines for each non-perishable food item you bring to the checkout desk for a maximum of $20. All food will be donated to Denville Social Services.

The Food for Fines offer will not extend to other MAIN libraries or fees associated with other libraries’ materials. We are happy to accept donations without fines but no credit will be given for future fines. 

Denville Social Services asks for items with a long shelf-life, including:

• peanut butter and jelly
• canned meats
• canned fruits and vegetables
• canned soups and beans
• pasta and pasta sauce
• boxed macaroni and cheese
• rice
• bottled 100% fruit juice
• hot and cold cereals
• infant formula and baby food
• diapers and baby wipes
• hygiene products
