Applications for the 2016/17 Craft Research Fund grant cycle are now open

The Center for Craft, Creativity & Design's Craft Research Fund grant program advances and expands research about craft in the United States. Since 2005, the program has supported innovative research on critical issues in craft theory and history, explored the inter-relationship among craft, art, design and contemporary culture, and fostered new cross-disciplinary approaches to scholarship in the craft field.

Proposals are welcome from curators, researchers, independent scholars and graduate students.

October 21, 2016, 11:59 pm EST || Project and Exhibition Research Grants
October 31, 2016, 11:59 pm EST || Travel Grants

The Craft Research Fund program is administered by The Center for Craft, Creativity & Design and supported by the Windgate Fund at the  Community Foundation of Western North Carolina.
