"The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again."
Luke 24:7

Dear Friends of Cranaleith,

Last year, we were preparing to celebrate Easter in an entirely new way. Separated from loved ones and removed from all the comforts of “normalcy,” we did not yet know that our lives and communities would be forever changed. We reflected on Christ’s suffering and death, many of us still unaware of the great suffering and struggles that would befall us in our personal lives and in our society.

This Easter season, we invite you to join the Cranaleith community as you are, wherever you are on your journey of faith and life. If you are mourning, we will mourn with you. If you are joyful, we will celebrate with you. Together, we will hold the Paschal Mystery in our hearts and ask Christ to make His constant and eternal love known to us.

From all of us at Cranaleith, we wish you peace and joy this Easter!
"Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song."
Pope John Paul II
UPCOMING RETREATS
All retreats are offered virtually on Zoom. Scholarships are available because everyone is welcome at Cranaleith. Please email [email protected] so we can assist you.
Together we will stand in the fire of grief. Through music, poetry and the sharing of our stories, we will move through the flames toward hope and healing. Cloaked in compassion and love, we will find our way.

Cranaleith wishes to support everyone who is grieving with a free support group. The group will meet weekly in April. We will focus on discussion, relying on mutual support as a tool for healing. Come to as many of the sessions as you can manage.

This is a free program.
Each spring, blossoms fill the eyes of our hearts with hope. After a year of hardship for so many, we will awaken to newness in the gift of one another. This morning of respite will hold quiet reflection, sharing, music and creative response. Come, discover the resilience we share with all creation that heals our world. Join other women vets in discovering the beauty and promise we hold.

Will you help us spread the word about this free retreat?
Get creative with Cranaleith!

We are delighted to host Brother Mickey McGrath, OSFS, who will share his own art and reflections on the healing power of beauty on our journey to holiness and wholeness. He will also guide us in a creative project on paper inspired by the Freedom Quilts of the Underground Railroad, designed to help you find inner peace through meditation.

Program fee: $30
