If you are not familiar, this is a fried or blackened catfish filet served over a bed of fries and smothered in etouffee. Not for the faint of heart... but oh yes, it is a tasty creation.
Live Crawfish Update
I like to use an old saying from time to time to describe certain situations. That saying is, "An we're off like a herd of Turtles". It's usually in reference to attempts to get my family out the door in a timely fashion so as not to be late to wherever we may be going... This particular use of the saying is in reference to our little crawfish friends. We had a tough week last week. The molt was in and the catches were down. Way down. These things are hard to predict and we just have to roll with the punches when they do. When catches are down, prices go up. The catch should steadily improve throughout the week and we should have a decent weekend but prices for live crawfish will be $4.75/lb. by the sack.
Boiled Crawfish - $8.99/lb

We will be boiling crawfish every Friday, Saturday & Sunday moving forward. We will add days of the week as demand increases.
On-Premise Beer
Due to some legislative changes we are now able to serve beer in our restaurant. We have been waiting almost 10 years for this to happen... If you are like me, you enjoy a cold beer with your crawfish, gumbo, po-boy, fried catfish... I could go on for a while but I think you get my point...:)
Mardi Gras
