MOVING!
YES! The time has come. Rave X is finally taking our customers and getting out of Dodge! We need to lose the high rent and go down the street to save some money and enjoy this great venture. We are still looking for a building but plan to stay in South Portland. Voters said STAY; so we are!
Thanks for taking part in our survey and helping us with this decision. There is a great spot next to Staples here in SOPO by the Jetport and I think that it is calling our name. Stand by for more info!!!!

Update from Alex's dad:
Saturday, January 21, 2012 - eveningAlex had a good day today, and consequently, so did we. Weather was lousy. Snow this morning and most of the day...the drive into Boston from Peabody was mostly 20mph. But, we made it to BMC safe and sound.
We stopped at Spinelli's on the way in and picked up some Italian food to go. What a selection!! If anyone is driving south toward Boston on Route 1, and you think you might eat sometime within the next two days, you have to stop here and pick up something "to go". Pris had the chicken parmesan and I had a spinach & cheese calzone...it was great. And the pastry selections are divine.
The weather kept the visitors away...totally understandable. I wouldn't have wanted anyone out on the roads today. Alex's TR worked today and we had a private screening of the 2005 movie "Murderball". It was more than just a movie about "quad rugby" and the USA Team effort in the 2004 paralympics. We learned about the lives of the individuals on the team, their injuries, their obstacles, their adaptations, and ultimately, their triumphs.It was enlightening on several levels. But the thing I was left with at the end (and please don't take this negatively) regardless of all the positive milestones (new sensations in different locations, new abilities such as toe wiggling and finger twitching) Alex is and always will be a quadriplegic. The term merely means someone who has an impairment in all four extremities. There are quadriplegics with different levels of functionality. Some are functioning at a very high level, living independently, driving vehicles, gainfully employed, living a very fulfilled life...all things we envision for Alex. It all depends on the individual's attitude and outlook. Folks, believe me, from what I've seen so far, Alex has the "right stuff". He has the attitude and the desire and the help, love, and support of a large caring and loving community. Thank you all for your support throughout this. Please continue to pray for and express your support for Alex. I truly believe he will surprise all of us.
