Creamy Lemon-Chive Dip

There’s a lot to love about this easy recipe. First, it’s full of zippy, fresh lemon flavor that can brighten up any meal or appetizer tray. Next, it comes together with just a whisk and a bowl (no blender or food processor needed). You can also make it up to five days in advance, and the flavors remain bright and the texture wonderfully creamy. Finally, it pairs perfectly with all your favorite nonstarchy vegetables and might encourage you to eat more of them. It’s also wonderful on a grain bowl, slathered on a burger, or dolloped onto crab cakes.
  • 1⅓ cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
  • ⅓ cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup chives, thinly sliced

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the chives.
  2. Serving Size: about 1/4 cup.
