Using Plant Lists
Hosting a plant sale? Share a list of what you're selling. Here's a plant sale list.

Going hiking? Distribute printed or digital copies of plants to look for. Create a plant list, and print it and/or share the link (url) with the other hikers. Here's a plant list for a Mount Diablo hike in March.

Searching for more than one species in a region? Suppose you would like to search for favorite plants in your region to see where they grow. Create a plant list of these favorites, and use the list to search for observations in the database. This is easier than querying one species at a time. Here are species of interest on Mount Diablo.
Viewing Plant Lists

You may opt to include all species and subspecies, show the bloom wheels, order by bloom start month, group by family, show plant photos, and not show photo links.

When viewing a plant list, links take you to What Grows Here? and / or Observation Search. When used in this way, results include only species on your list.
Plant List or Survey?

A plant list is not necessarily tied to a place or time. A Calflora survey, on the other hand, is from a specific place on a specific date or series of dates. Here's how to create a plant survey in Calflora.
