The *New* Potomac Pedalers website has launched!

The biggest difference you will find is that  your current website login information will not work in the new system. That is because the passwords for the accounts on the current site are encrypted and can't be transferred to the new site. As such, you will need to establish a new password on the new site. It is a short and relatively painless process, and once it's done, you're good to go!

Click here to create your new website password now!

Special Note to Ride Leaders: Your ride coordinators will soon be providing you with detailed guidelines on uploading your rides. Contact your ride coordinator if you have not received this information.

Bike to Work Day is a celebration of bicycling as a clean, fun, and healthy way to get to work. It also presents a real opportunity for Potomac Pedalers to introduce commuters to our club.

Do all or one of the routes with a Bonus 10 mile ride through the Refuge on Wildlife Drive (no more than 10 to a group).

After the ride, we will have a potluck at the Harriet Tubman Outdoor Picnic Shelter. You can learn about the Blackwater Refuge from a park volunteer, then visit the Harriet Tubman and Blackwater Refugee Visitor Centers, which are close to each other by car or bike.

Shenandoah2** Registration Open! **

Shenandoah
WHEN: July 7-9
WHERE: Mt. Jackson, VA

Dreaming of summer, a cool mountain breeze, and spending some time poolside? Then mark your calendars for the Potomac Pedalers Shenandoah Valley Weekend, July 7-9. Based in Mt. Jackson, Virginia, the area is a fabulously bucolic place for cyclists - no sprawl, little traffic and plenty of corn! Enjoy  scenic rides, mountain views, creeks, and a top-notch covered bridge.  You'll have the opportunity to explore nearby vineyards, the Mt. Jackson Arts Museum, the Rt. 11 Potato Chip factory, antique stores, Bryce resort, Shenandoah Caverns, Civil War battlefields; go duckpin bowling; or just lounge by the pool! Come see why we call it summer camp for adults!
Carlisle2** Registration Open! **

WHEN: August 11-13
WHERE: Carlisle, PA

Carlisle weekend registration is open.  The rides will remain in the same idyllic location of rolling farms, where you will have choices of a number of mileage options, with big climbs or just the lovely rolling country-side. We will also be riding through Boiling Springs! We had fun riding to a local brewery last year on Friday afternoon and seeing a historic Molly Pitcher monument.

If you have a non-cycling partner attending with you, there is LOTS to do! The Appalachian Trail is very close by, as well as the Guilford Pinchot state park.
Carlisle is the county seat for Cumberland County, it's a very attractive town for cycling and walking.
