Part of what makes JFS' Citizenship Classes exceptional is the dedicated instructors that help empower and position their students for success, as well as the community of students that share their experiences about the citizenship process.
Students like Ingrid who recently became a naturalized citizen and shared her story with her class. She explained that while she was nervous at first, the course prepared her to be confident in responding to questions and following instructions. She gave her classmates helpful tips like "make sure to listen carefully and don't be afraid to ask for a question to be repeated, use a file folder to organize your documents, and arrive early because parking may be difficult." JFS prides itself on helping individuals from various backgrounds achieve their goals, which we could not do without the encouraging community of clients and students. Our impact grows when clients feel empowered to share their experiences to help others.
