Family Promise of Warren County is a recent recipient of a grant through the WCF Environmental Fund.

Grant funding will support their pollinator pathway and garden initiative to help Warren County families that are experiencing homelessness.

"Family Promise of Warren County is overwhelmed by the generous support of the Warren County Foundation Environmental Fund for our Storybook Garden Path - Pollinator pathway, garden and educational experience. This project is not only important to the environment, but it is an opportunity for children as a hands-on educational tool that also improves focus, reduces anxiety and fosters environmental stewardship. The garden also teaches the children responsibility and patience through this outdoor experience. We appreciate this special opportunity for the growth and expansion of this project!"

George served on the Foundation's Board of Directors for many years, generously sharing his time, leadership and commitment to strengthen the work of WCF throughout our community.
