Develop your business first before building your house.
Proverbs 24:27, NLT
One night I watched an awesome documentary about Berry Gordy, the founder of Motown Records. It told the story of how he began Motown Records using the business model and blueprint he learned while working for Ford Motor Account. Rather than starting from scratch, Mr. Gordy took the same blueprint Ford used to create quality cars and used it to create a blueprint for producing great music and great singers. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Like Berry Gordy, if it is your desire to write a quality Christian book, you’ll need to create a blueprint for how you plan to reach your goal. A blueprint that outlines everything you need to include in your book before you begin writing it. A blueprint that includes, for example, the main idea for your book, the title of your book and the table of contents your book will cover.
I am now a certified nonfiction book coach and I offer coaching to help you create a blueprint for your book. If you have a great book idea and need a plan for how to flesh it out, contact me for a free consultation to discuss how I can help you create your blueprint for success.
Like the owner of Motown Records was able to produce many great and enduring songs using his blueprint for success, you can also produce a great and enduring book using your blueprint for success. A book designed to last for generations to come.
Sharing the journey,
Coach Jeaninne
