Creation Basic Training Course

GHCA will sponsor a full-day creation apologetics course that will expand, complete and unify your knowledge of Biblical Creation and the associated issues in science and apologetics. The end goal and emphasis of this intensive course is to enable us to respond to skeptics and critics of Biblical Creation in a kind, confident, effective and productive way.

All to often even those of us who know a lot about Biblical Creation and creation science find ourselves caught off guard with little response or ineffective response for critics and skeptics. However, there are good and strong responses for most claims of the critics and skeptics. But to be effective we have to have a sound education of our subject and we have to know our opponents. This approach reminds us a little of the Basic Training that all new military recruits go through to learn the basic skills needed to be an effective soldier. Thus the name of the course, Creation Basic Training.

For the course instructor we will have the best of the best, Mr. Mike Riddle who is a no nonsense former Marine who salutes the Lord Jesus. Riddle has a BS in Mathematics, a MA in Education, has taught at the junior and senior high school and college levels, and has developed many training courses for corporations as well. Mike has been involved in creation apologetics for 35 years and is the founder and President of Creation Training Initiative (CTI) which has developed a system of creation training courses for teens, parents, church leaders and professionals. These courses are widely used by large churches and church organization, and creation and creation science organization across North America and internationally. CTI courses are simply the best that exist.

So, GHCA is sponsoring Mr. Mike Riddle teaching the Creation Basic Training course on Saturday August 13 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Houston’s First Baptist is graciously providing an excellent classroom seating 60 people at tables at their Loop campus near the intersection of Interstate 10 and Loop 610 West. Coffee, lunch and refreshments are provided by GHCA. Registration online is required at the CTI website below. A $25 fee (note the fee for this course is usually $45 but GHCA has arranged to pay the difference). The text book, study materials, lunch and refreshments are all included.
