4-23-19  Meeting

Meeting called to order by President Rachel Toomey. Total attendance: 29, members; 26, Guests; 3-Miss CC Muscarella, Dan Shepard and Linda's granddaughter Lily. Nice to have Ian and Nancy Nelson with us today as well as Maria Montesinos.

There is no formal meeting next Tuesday however we are meeting as a club and will have committee meetings. Come let your voice be heard.

50/50: Karen Hurst had the lucky ticket (again :-) She did not pull the ace of hearts so the jackpot rolls over. Anyone can participate for the instant winnings but only club members can pull for the jackpot if their ticket is pulled.

Please keep the family of Larry Taylor, Lt. Governor Liaison and Kiwanian from Punta Gorda in your thoughts. Larry passed away earlier this past week.

                             Florida's First Lady Project--Diaper Drive

We are collecting diapers during the months of March and April.

For March we donated 3,000  to St. Vincent De Paul. They went to families in Page Park and Pine Manor. We received a nice thank you letter from the agency.  For April we are donating them to Children's Advocacy Center. They especially need sizes 4-6. Bring them in to Todd or Kim.

At the end of April we'll send our total diaper count to the Florida office. Last chance to bring diapers in is at the social Tuesday.

You can also bring in items associated with diapers such as wipes. If you don't want to shop a club member will be happy to do that.
