Call for Applications: The Franklin Furnace FUND for Performance Art
The Franklin Furnace FUND for Performance Art is supported by Jerome Foundation, the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and biennially by the SHS Foundation in honor of Ruth Hardinger. FUND grants are based on the peer review panel allocation of funding received by Franklin Furnace. Artists from all areas of the world are encouraged to apply; however, artists selected by the panel are expected to present their work in New York City. Full-time students are ineligible. Artists must be early career as defined by Jerome Foundation.
Application Deadline: April 1, 2024
Stipend: $2,000 to $10,000

̌Recess Art's Session program provides artists a 1200sf workspace in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn and 6-10 weeks to develop a new inquiry-based project meant to push the boundaries of their practice. They will receive an artist honorarium, planning meeting fees, project expenses, technical support, and mentorship.

Call for Applications: KODA Mental Health Residency
KODA offers an artist residency program for two mid-career, female-identifying and/or non-binary artists who create conceptual and socially engaged work. The program is placed under the theme of Mental Health. KODA is a Brooklyn-founded nomadic social practice nonprofit arts organization focusing on conceptual mid-career artists ingrained in social justice. In its overall mission to support the artistic and professional growth of artists, KODA acts as a laboratory for creative concepts, reflecting its core values of curiosity and collaboration. Artists must devote a minimum of 20 hours per month to residency.
