Creative Expressions 2022 has been a win-win experience for all who entered. Most importantly, the contest has allowed for self-expression. And it has allowed participants to be acknowledged and honored for telling their own stories. 

Thanks to you, our donors, GSGC's Creative Expressions 2022 fundraiser surpassed its $10,000 goal! We owe sincere thanks as well to the 15 expert judges on two continents who gave so generously of their time selecting the final slate of contestants.

We asked GSGC-supported club members in Madagascar, Zambia and Zimbabwe to describe what it meant to work towards gender equality in Southern Africa. And they did, in spades! To all GSGC youth who took part in this year’s event, our hearty congratulations.

GSGC Mentors handed over the 2022 prizes to all contest winners and their families. The thanks they received from both were truly gratifying.

Some GSGC-sponsored Mentors are accomplished artists, and our Creative Expressions competition nurtures the talents of girls and boys in the Mentors’ clubs. This event honors the abilities of people on both continents and raises money for continued mentoring that keeps youth on a path out of poverty and into greater opportunity. See you there!
