Shared Board Training Available
Board Training
Our Region is facilitating a shared
Board Training via Zoom
The first training is set for July 10 & 11.
Times to be announced.
Cost: $175 per ministry for three ministries to share the cost.
Facilitated by Rev. David Mosher, a UWM Ministry Development Consultant and Ministry Transition Specialist.

Areas of focus the training will encompass includes:
1) understanding the system — the life cycle of a church, the development of minister to community to mission-centric ministry, and the Thriving Ministry Model;
2) an introduction to emotional and spiritual maturity — the concept and brain science, creating conscious communications;
3) leadership skills and best practices — roles and responsibilities, effective meetings, system evaluations.
Built into the training will be time to look at some of the issues that face your spiritual community.

Rev. David requests that participants take a Friendly Profile for People at Work assessment that will bring in an understanding of their own approaches and basic styles of others around the table. The cost is $13.00 per person.

A Prayer for the Wounded Heart of Humanity

We call upon God’s Love in this important moment, knowing that Divine Love is the greatest power in the Universe . We pray for the wounded heart of humanity as we grieve, rage, cry, and despair over injustice and inequity. May Divine Love enfold and comfort everyone who is hurting. May Divine Wisdom guide each person and institution in taking inspired action to ensure that all are celebrated for their inherent goodness as a part of God’s creation. May we remain resolute in walking the course of human rights and social justice for all . We pray in the spirit of unity, love, and oneness.
