Wash and dry cans. Check to make sure there are no sharp edges around the opening of the can.
Cut your paper to the correct size so it will cover the entire can. Glue paper to the can.
For the man’s shirt, cut a strip of white paper to fit around the can. Fold the paper in half and cut both ends together at an angle. Glue the white strip of paper around the top of can bringing the two points together. Cut a tie from the fabric to fit your open space.
For the women’s dress, repeat the same steps above but use lace or ribbon instead of the white strip if paper. Glue buttons down the front of the dress. Get creative and embellish your cans any way you like!
