Written and recorded by Purple Songs Can Fly as part of our remote
songwriting program. Inspired by 12 year old Thania’s beautiful poem,
The Day I Felt Peaceful, and Sarah Fisher’s artwork, this original lullaby waltz incorporates young patient’s interpretations of owl sounds as well as samples of screech owl recordings.

  • Colored card stock or thick paper
  • Something to trace a circle- a bowl or plate works great

  • Color markers, pencils or crayons
  • Stickers
  • Craft knife
  • A Coin- penny is perfect
