Egg Carton Fish
Supplies:

  • 1 or 2 cardboard egg cartons
  • Paint (your choice)
  • Paint Brush
  • Pencil
  • String
  • Goggle Eyes
  • Black Marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue

To Make:
  1. Cut the middle pointed sections out of the egg carton and round the edges as you are cutting.
  2. Cut one of the sections to look like fish fins.
  3. Paint all the sections making sure you paint the inside and outside of each section. Let dry.
  4. Using the pencil, poke a small hole in the top point of each section. Take the string and tie a big knot at one end. Thread the string in all the holes starting with section that is shaped like the fish fin. Your knot will be secured to this section. Next, thread the other sections onto your string so that all sections nestle into each other.  The last section to go in the string will be the fish head. Use the black marker and draw a smile on both side of the string where it is coming out of his mouth.
  5. Draw black lines on the bottom section to make your fins look real!
  6. Glue your goggle eyes on just above the mouth. Or draw eyes!
  7. You now have a fish tale to tell!
