Toilet Paper Roll Scarecrow
Supplies:

  • Toilet Paper Roll
  • Any colored felt fabric or paper
  • Tan felt fabric or paper
  • Yellow paper
  • Crinkle paper
  • Googly Eyes
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pen
To Make:
  1. Trace the circle of the roll end onto the tan felt. Trace a slightly bigger circle around that circle. Cut out the outer circle, then cut out the middle circle. You now should have a circle with a circle cut out inside. Slide the circle piece over one end of roll to create the brim of the hat. Cut a strip of tan felt long enough to go around the roll. Glue the strip around the top to finish the hat.
  2. Using the colored felt cut a 1 ½ “strip long enough to go around the roll. Glue the fabric to the roll to create the clothes.
  3. Glue two googly eyes and nose (cut small triangle from yellow paper). Using the maker, draw a mouth with little stitch marks.
  4. For the hair, place glue on the roll where the hair belongs under the hat. Press the crinkle paper on top of glue. When glue is dry take scissors and give hair a trim where needed.
  5. It’s beginning to look like Fall!
