Springs Chicks


Supplies:
  • 1 Toilet paper roll
  • Yellow paint
  • 4 black small buttons
  • Colored paper - orange
  • 1 orange pipe cleaner
  • Black marker
  • Paper plate 
  • Green shredded paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue 
Instructions:

1.    To make your chicks, cut the toilet paper roll in half. Paint both halves of the toilet paper roll with yellow paint. It may need a couple of coats of paint. Once the paint has dried, glue the button eyes on. Cut a beak shape out of the orange paper and glue that under the middle of the eyes. Let the glue dry. Cut six, 2” strips from the orange pipe cleaner. Fold each strip in half. Glue two for feet and one for head feather to the roll. Let glue dry. Draw eyebrows above the eyes with a black marker. 
2.   Take the paper plate and fill the plate with green shredded paper.  
3.   Place your cute spring chicks in the middle of the plate!
