Dear Early Childhood and Afterschool Professionals;

In light of the current challenges we are facing with COVID-19 and the increasing need to be available to support providers, families, programs and the broader community, we will be temporarily suspending all credentialing and license-plus certifications until further notice.

If you have already submitted your credential application or re-certification application, when operations resume the certificate will be back-dated to your submission/re-certification date. Further, if you need documentation regarding submission or other related issues, please email Sarah Nelson at sarah.nelson@dhhs.nh.gov with your request.

All license-plus programs will have their quality rating payments continue uninterrupted during this period of time, regardless of the expiration date of your license-plus certification.

We greatly appreciate your ongoing commitment and extraordinary efforts, now and during all the other times that you serve children and families.

More correspondence regarding child care scholarship, licensing implications, upcoming events and trainings, staffing and other topical issues will be forthcoming.

Regards,

Dianne Chase, Assistant Bureau Chief
