UPDATES & ANNOUNCEMENTS

Shirley Hardesty will be joining us this month as a new Crew Member Coordinator. Shirly has previous volunteer experience with Women of Today and The Special Olympics. All of Shirley's furry family members have been rescue pets, and most recently Shirley adopted Ivy - formerly Antigua, from its last Summer.

Volunteers Crystal Weber and Hilary Simonson are no longer with The Rescue Crew in their roles as Crew Member Coordinator and Events Manager respectively. Crystal began volunteering in the Summer of 2019 after adopting her dog Cruiser from the rescue, and then adopting her Siamese kitty Alice from us that Winter.

Hilary came to us last Summer from Save-A-Bull where she held a similar role and helped host a number of successful events during her 10-months with us.

We wish both Crystal and Hilary success in their future endeavors.

Lissa Receives Stellar Feedback.

Everyone who adopts from us receives a survey, which is automatically emailed to them one-week post adoption, asking for their feedback. Feline Tacca's adopter -- fostered by Lissa Kleven -- had this to say about her experience: "The Rescue Crew is very mindful, diligent and thorough in vetting potential adopters. Fosters Lissa and Jesse are amazing incredible people, I so enjoyed my interaction and experience with them!"

Beneficiaries of Julie's Commitment.

A recent adopter of Miss Diva Chi, fostered by Julie Lee, wrote a stellar review about us on Yelp. Here's a portion of it: "Having worked with dozens of non-profits in my long advertising career, I have NEVER found an organization as transparent in their funding and expenses. No one is getting rich off this. Just a true philanthropy that subscribes fully to its mission and does it well. My first adoptee - a 7 year old chihuahua who already means the world to me - arrives this afternoon (shout out to her foster mom for her great love for the pup and awesome communication with me.). Can't wait!" Read the complete Yelp review.

Don't forget to check our website often, as we regularly update information, events and resources that can be useful to you as well as our adopters. These are some new resources available you may not be aware of.
