News from Crinan

After the blustery weather a week ago, the skies have cleared and we have enjoyed some lovely warm sunny autumn days.

The hotel will be open for a little longer than we had previously advised and there are tempting off-season prices available for a visit to Crinan over the next 10 days or so.

Check our online booking system for the latest availability and prices if you would like a last autumn visit to Argyll for 2026.

We will also be open for lunch and dinner until 12th November for those not staying in the hotel.

And there is still some space left for our Hogmanay House Party - you can find more details below.

The Crinan Team look forward to welcoming you back to enjoy our wonderful location, good food and perhaps a dram or two.

We do hope you will visit us soon - we will offer you a warm welcome and true Highland hospitality!

Dogs are welcome

Well behaved dogs have always been made welcome at the Crinan Hotel!

There is a great range of options for walks in the Crinan area - you might like a gentle amble along the Canal towpath which is undemanding or a stroll through the woods.

For more energetic dogs and their owners, there are hills to climb which give access to panoramic views over the Sound of Jura and the surrounding countryside.

There are many marked trails through the local forests - there is more information on our Walking at Crinan page.

Please see our website for more information about arranging for your dog to stay at the Crinan Hotel with you - and there is also information for those with dog allergies which we hope you will find reassuring: Dogs at the Crinan Hotel.
