With 1.5 billion people following stay at home orders worldwide and nearly every aspect of our lives altered due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this webinar looks at ways to manage the greatest challenges businesses face in a crisis setting. We will address the importance of selecting the metrics and factors that you need to focus on and avoid getting derailed, why you have to make decisions and then “call it,” tips for crisis communications with your staff, how to identify your resource needs, and the daily practices that you need to implement in order to adapt in an uncertain business climate.

Helen comes to the position of CCIA Executive Director with extensive non-profit management experience and expertise in global sustainability issues, cleantech, natural resource management, and stakeholder engagement. She has served as the Director of a Colorado-based research and sustainable development non-profit, Managing Editor of  The Journal of Energy and Development , and has broad business and public-sector ties at the local, national, and international level. Helen holds a M.B.A. from Rice University, a master’s degree in regional studies of the Middle East from Harvard University, and undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles in economics and in international area studies.

In an effort to support the shortage of masks for healthcare workers, Akrasia Capital initiated the process of 3-D printing masks. Now they've teamed up with Make4Covid an effort to bring Colorado makers together to pool resources for the fight against COVID-19.

Field Upgrading, alongside SteriO3 both under leadership of Field Upgrading VP, Steve Hughes, has focused on using SteriO3's stainless steel sterilization technology to sterilize N95 masks in response to the incr eased need. The application of this sterilization technology to the COVID-19 outbreak response looks to support healthcare workers and responders.

U.S. Small Business Administration Opens Bridge Loan Program
Express Bridge Loan (EBL) Pilot Program  allows small businesses who currently have a business relationship with an SBA Express Lender to access up to $25,000 with less paperwork. EBL loans can only be made by SBA Express Lenders that had a valid Supplemental Loan Guaranty Agreement SBA Express Program (SBA Form 2424) in effect as of the date of the applicable disaster.

An emergency Special Enrollment period has been opened up from Friday, March 20 through Friday, April 3, 2020 to help as many people as possible with healthcare coverage during the COVID-19 outbreak .

Colorado COVID-19 Relief Fund Accepting Grant Applications
The Colorado COVID Relief Fund's purpose is to raise funds and coordinate the allocation of those contributions. Funds raised will be used to support the needs of communities impacted by COVID-19 in both response and recovery. The specs are housed in a Google doc that has a great deal of information and is a good source of manufacturing information for making hand sanitizer, examination gloves, negative pressure rooms, and much more.
