Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio continues elective surgical abortions

I know we've been asking much of you lately, but please keep up the momentum! Everyone in Ohio must be held to the same standard, and that includes abortion facilities which are hoarding precious PPE that they should be donating to healthcare workers treating COVID-19 victims.

Everyone is giving us the runaround. I know you don't get satisfactory answers when you call, but please don't give up. It is still having an effect.

What can you do tonight and tomorrow morning?

  2. E-mail Governor DeWine, Lt. Governor Husted, and your local legislator HERE.

Much has happened over the course of a week and half. See the timeline below:

March 18, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. - Ohio Health Department  mandate goes into effect ordering “all non-essential and elective surgeries and procedures” to cease.
March 19, 2020 - Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio (PPSWO) continues performing non-essential elective surgical abortions.
March 20, 2020 - The Ohio Attorney General's office issues a cease and desist letter to Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio stating, "On behalf of the Department, you and your facility are ordered to immediately stop performing non-essential and elective surgical abortions."
March 23, 2020 - PPSWO continues performing non-essential elective surgical abortions.
March 24, 2020 - PPSWO continues performing non-essential elective surgical abortions.
March 25, 2020 - PPSWO continues performing non-essential elective surgical abortions. And, Governor DeWine thanks businesses and technical schools for donating Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to local hospitals.
March 26, 2020 - PPSWO continues performing non-essential elective surgical abortions.
