Critical Moment Survey: Takes less than 60 seconds to respond
The COVID-19 Community Task Force is working with local, state and federal governments to determine the best initial approaches to re-igniting the south central Kansas economy. Planning Creates Opportunity - Chamber's First Virtual Sunrise Scrambler
The monthly tradition of a Sunrise Scrambler was disrupted in March but we weren’t going to let that stop us from figuring out how to provide educational resources to our members through one of our favorite programs. Wednesday morning we hosted our first-ever virtual Sunrise Scrambler for our Breakfast Club members. Our latest blog shares takeaways from one of our attendees, Tawny Jones of Building Control and Services, and a recording of the Scrambler.


Governor Kelly Extends Stay-At-Home Order to May 3
As part of her administration’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Laura Kelly issued an executive order last night which extends the duration of the state’s Stay-At-Home order through May 3. Read the executive order here .
 
Good Deeds in Hard Times
The Ad Astra coalition, led by Airbus Americas Engineering , Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., Textron Aviation, Wichita State University and WSU Tech, has been created to provide assistance to Kansas during the #COVID19 situation. The coalition will start by creating/distributing personal protective equipment (PPE) for the medical community and first responders. Read more about it here .
