Crittenton Hospital Medical Center Announces New President
Gwen MacKenzie, Sr. Vice President, Ascension Health, Michigan Market Executive and Russell Shelton, Chair, Crittenton Hospital Medical Center Board of Trustees today announced that Margaret Dimond will be joining Crittenton as President on May 1, 2016.

Margaret is an accomplished and well-respected health care leader with extensive experience in acute care, ambulatory and physician group organizations," said Gwen MacKenzie. "She is a perfect match for the Crittenton personality and potential."
As a member of the Ascension Michigan Market Leadership team, Margaret will join the presidents of Borgess Health in Kalamazoo (Kathy Young), Genesys Health System, St. Mary's of Michigan and St. Joseph Health System in mid-Michigan (Betsy Aderholdt) and St. John Providence in Metro Detroit (Jean Meyer), in creating integrated networks of care as part of Ascension.
"Many qualified candidates showed an interest in this position, which allowed us to make a thoughtful selection from an excellent pool of talent," said Russell Shelton. "Margaret will be a great fit. Besides a wealth of experience, she is already involved in our community, and she's done her homework. I really believe she's what we need at Crittenton and I'm excited to work with her."
Margaret most recently served as President & CEO of the Karmanos Cancer Hospital within the McLaren Health System. Previously, she was President & CEO of the McLaren Medical Group. She has held executive positions with Henry Ford Health System and the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Physician Practice Plan.
Margaret earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in social work, has a master's degree in public administration from University of Michigan and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Michigan State University.

Crittenton Hospital Medical Center (1101 W. University Drive, Rochester, Michigan) is a 290-bed acute healthcare facility serving communities in Oakland, Macomb and Lapeer counties.
