Description of Business: We are a mobile entertainment company based out of Severn, MD. We service the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas. Offering professional music, audio, and lighting solutions for weddings, private parties, and corporate events, we ensure that we spin the right tunes to create a unique and unforgettable atmosphere that will keep people dancing all night long.

Your Business Mission Statement: Our mission is to “Connect, Captivate, and Entertain” guests by using amazing lighting and customized playlists to create the perfect ambiance that turns “Music into Memories”

What’s Your Why? Whether it's the song that gets everyone up on the dance floor or the song that can bring everyone to tears, music is such a powerful tool. Having played instruments since the age of 7, music and entertainment have been my passion. Whether I was performing at a concert, acting in a school play, or hosting parties, I have always loved to be in front of a crowd and put smiles on people’s faces to create experiences and memories to last a lifetime.

What sets your business apart from others? I am a planner and take a very hands-on approach with my clients to offer them that “boutique” experience. I want to get to know and connect with them so that I can provide a tailored music and lighting experience that is unique to their taste and vision. I only perform one event per day so clients don’t have to compete with other clients. This allows me to focus and give them the attention they deserve for their event. Also, unlike the bigger companies you won’t get farmed out to other DJ’s, you work with me directly, and have unlimited access for consultations. It’s about the service and professionalism for me.

What are some of the personal rewards that come from your business? Whether it is a wedding, party, or special event, seeing the joy and excitement that people have when dancing with their family and friends is its own reward.

How long have you been a chamber member? 2 years. This will be my 3rd year in 2022

What benefits have you experienced with your chamber membership? Wow. From the minute I joined the Chamber, it has been nothing short of amazing for my business. My first event that I attended; I was able to network with various members of the Crofton Chamber. Through that first event, I made connections that would lead to new business for my company that I am still bearing fruit from today. The staff is very helpful in making sure members connect with other members. And, they have a keen eye for making sure you make the right connections that can benefit your business. Joining the Chamber was the best decision and I look forward to making new connections and working with the organization.
Do you offer any discounts? I offer promotions twice a year which usually entails 10% off total pricing or a free lighting package upgrade.

AAEDC Grant Program Addresses Small Business Infrastructure
Anne Arundel County announced the Small Business Infrastructure Improvement Pilot Program (SBIIPP), a grant initiative to help small businesses afford the infrastructure improvements necessary to start or expand business operations.

The program will be managed by the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) and is supported by $850,000 of American Rescue Plan Act funding (ARPA).

Eligible projects include water and sewer improvements. A project must benefit multiple businesses, not just a single entity. Letters from neighboring organizations are required to demonstrate community support for the project. Community organizations include chambers of commerce and business, commercial condominium, homeowners and community associations. Funding is contingent on the Anne Arundel County Department of Inspections and Permits final approval of the project.

The application period opened on Monday, December 13, 2021 and closes at 5:00 pm on Friday, January 28, 2022.
Inclusive Ventures Program

Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation recently announced the details on who should apply for, how to apply for, and when to apply for their third Inclusive Ventures Program (IVP) cohort.

The next application period is 1/24/22 – 1/31/22, with a start date of 3/2/22.
