The Next Citrus Crop Forecast Is Dec. 9
The low initial crop forecast for the 2022-23 season called for just 28 million boxes of oranges for Florida. Since the estimate was prepared prior to Hurricanes Ian and Nicole, it did not take into account the storm damage. Therefore, the forecast is expected to decrease. This Friday, Dec. 9, hear the updated U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) forecast at 12:00 p.m. EST. Listen to the report here.
