Essential Row Crop Management Webinar Series will offer a series of webinars on crop management . There will be a webinar each day at 1:00 p.m. from April 6 to 10. Each session will last about 30 minutes. Topics include cover crop termination, grain storage, herbicides and tillage.
 
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is open for business. However, our offices are closed due to guidance issued by Iowa State University and the State of Iowa. Please feel free to contact your local ISU Extension office if you have questions.
 
Pasture management. Cool season grass pastures can benefit from 60-80 lb/a of N this time of year. An additional 30-40 lb/a of N in late May can maximize pasture production.
 
Hemp production. This article provides a good overview of the economics of hemp production in Iowa. Hemp production has created lots of attention and has many uses. However, market channels have been a challenge.
 
Pesticide applicator  testing will be offered (scroll to the bottom of the document). These are subject to change. Call before you travel.
